How I Can Support Your Event as a Speaker

The conversation around luxury family experience is changing.

Families travelling with children are not a niche audience, and children are not simply an operational consideration to be managed once a booking has been made. They influence how families choose where to travel, how they experience a hotel, yacht or destination, and ultimately how they remember it.

Yet children are still often missing from wider conversations around luxury hospitality, guest experience, personalisation and service.

This is where much of my speaking work sits.

Through Superyacht Nanny, I bring more than a decade of direct experience working with UHNW families across superyachts, private households and luxury travel environments. My work now focuses on helping the wider luxury industry better understand families travelling with children, alongside supporting the continued professionalisation of childcare within these environments.

As a speaker, I bring together frontline experience, industry insight and a practical understanding of how family experience translates into day-to-day operations.

Topics I speak about

My talks can be adapted for conferences, industry events, leadership teams, professional communities and private workshops.

The Smallest Guests, the Biggest Opportunity

Children can have a significant influence on family travel decisions, yet they are often overlooked in conversations about commercial strategy and guest experience.

This talk explores why children matter to the luxury industry, how their experience affects the adults travelling with them, and where businesses can find opportunities to improve loyalty, differentiation and the overall family journey.

Beyond the Kids' Club

Creating an exceptional family experience requires much more than children's programming.

This session looks at the entire family journey: from booking and pre-arrival communication through to personalisation, activities, childcare provision, staff interactions and the small operational details that can dramatically change a family's experience.

It challenges businesses to consider whether family experience is truly embedded across the organisation or largely confined to one department.

Designing Luxury for the Whole Family

What does luxury actually look like when children are involved?

This talk explores the tension between traditional ideas of luxury and the reality of family travel, where routines change, plans move, children have individual preferences and parents often value ease just as highly as extravagance.

The session looks at how businesses can design family experiences that feel both highly personalised and genuinely practical.

What UHNW Families Actually Need When Travelling With Children

There can be a gap between what businesses assume families want and what makes a meaningful difference in practice.

Drawing on years spent working directly with UHNW families, I explore the realities behind family travel: the role of private childcare, changing family dynamics, flexibility, communication, discretion, multi-generational groups and the importance of anticipating needs without overwhelming the experience.

The Human Skills Behind Exceptional Luxury Service

Technical standards matter, but exceptional service often comes down to human skills.

Emotional intelligence, communication, professional boundaries, judgement, adaptability and discretion are particularly important when working closely with families and children.

This session explores how these skills influence trust, relationships and the overall quality of the guest experience.

Who I speak to

My speaking work is particularly relevant to organisations operating across:

Luxury hospitality
Superyachts and yacht management
Luxury travel
Private aviation
Villas and private residences
Members' clubs
Family offices
Private household services
Professional childcare
Concierge and lifestyle management

The content can be adapted depending on whether the audience consists of senior leadership, operational teams, guest-facing staff, childcare professionals or a broader luxury-industry audience.

Different formats

Not every audience needs a traditional keynote.

I can support events through keynote talks, panel discussions, moderated conversations, leadership sessions, workshops and smaller private roundtables.

For organisations looking to explore a topic in more depth, sessions can also be tailored around a particular part of the family guest journey or a specific operational challenge.

Why this perspective matters

My experience sits at an unusual intersection.

I understand professional childcare, but I also understand the environments in which that childcare takes place.

I have worked directly with families aboard superyachts, within private households and while travelling internationally. I have also spent years building a professional community around luxury childcare and speaking with nannies, yacht crew, agencies and industry professionals about what is happening on the ground.

That means I am able to speak about family experience not only conceptually, but practically.

I understand what happens when a family arrives with children, how seemingly minor operational decisions can create friction, how private childcare fits into a luxury service environment, and where there are opportunities to create something genuinely memorable.

Previous speaking experience

I have previously spoken at International Nanny Training Day in Amsterdam, delivered workshops for private US-based professional communities and developed and hosted my own masterclass series through Superyacht Nanny.

My wider work has also been recognised across the yachting and childcare industries, including awards, nominations and international media coverage.

Bringing family experience into the wider luxury conversation

The luxury industry talks extensively about personalisation, loyalty, service, experience and anticipating guest needs.

Families with children belong in those conversations.

My speaking work is designed to help organisations look at family experience differently: not as an add-on, and not simply as a childcare question, but as part of the wider commercial and experiential strategy.
