I’m a Finalist for British Nanny of the Year 2025!

I’m thrilled to share some very exciting news — I’ve been selected as a finalist for the 2025 British Nanny of the Year Award.

This recognition means so much to me, not just personally, but as a milestone for the work I’ve been building through Superyacht Nanny.

Why This Award Matters

The British Nanny of the Year Award celebrates excellence, professionalism, and dedication in the childcare industry. To be shortlisted among such inspiring nannies is an incredible honour, and it highlights the unique and often hidden world of childcare in the home.

For me, it’s more than a nomination. It’s a moment that shines a spotlight on the importance of elevating standards of childcare onboard yachts and within UHNW families. Children deserve experiences that are safe, nurturing, and enriching — even when their environment is a superyacht or private estate.

My Journey to Here

Over the last decade, my career has taken me from working as a nanny and stewardess at sea to founding Superyacht Nanny, a business that now provides:

• Childcare consultancy for families, brokers, and yacht managers

• CPD-accredited training for nannies and crew

• Role referrals through my trusted global network of childcare professionals

• Career coaching and CV services to help nannies access UHNW roles

It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been driven by one clear mission: to raise the standards of childcare in luxury environments and ensure children’s experiences are every bit as extraordinary as the adults’.

This finalist spot joins some other exciting moments this year, including:

Each of these moments feels like confirmation that childcare in yachting and UHNW life is finally receiving the recognition it deserves.
